Patterson is no fool - he has no intention of writing a fictional biography which focuses on dark family moments or royal secrets. His intent was to create a document of thoughts and ideas which represent Diana and her sons in their quiet family moments. Well done, and a poignant read for folks who are sympathetic to Diana and her sons.
